What is a guardianship program? At the core of our business is the love we have for everyone of our puppies. For our puppies that are breeding prospects we strive for them to enjoy the love of a family!
A guardianship program is where someone takes on the responsibilities of having a high quality puppy at no charge of adopting the puppy. While we maintain the right to breed the puppy when the time is right.
A guardian family in essence provides a permanent (forever) home for a dog that is obtained at no cost to the guardian family with the understanding and agreement that Berry Patch Puppies will retain the breeding rights on the dog for a certain number of litters for a female dog or for retain use of the stud dog for a certain period of time.
Berry Patch Puppies is located in the beautiful open countryside of rural Pennsylvania. All of our wonderful puppy’s Mothers and Fathers have been screened and certified free of one or more genetic defects. All dogs and puppies sold are certified by licensed veterinarians as healthy and up to date on all vaccines and dewormings.
